Colored Sand

Sift sand to remove any large rocks or other debris

Put your sand into baking dishes (dish per color)

Add some water to your sand, you want your sand wet but not soaked (if it gets to wet that is ok it just takes longer to dry)

Add food coloring to your sand, as much as you need to get the desired color and mix this together vigorously

Place pans in the oven at 200 for about 5 - 10 minutes. Take the sand out while it is still a bit wet and let it dry on its own over night.
