Completely Edible Bird Feeder
This is a fantastic project to do with kids and the birds love it.
Bread
Peanut Butter
Bird Seed
Cookie Cutters
Twine (optional)
Take a slice of bread and cut it with a large cookie cutter.
Make a hole in this cut out about 1 inch from the side of the cut out and just large enough to go over a tiny branch
Let this bread sit for about 2 - 3 hours to dry out (turn it over half way through) or even leave it over night
If you are going to use twine to hang it (twine isn’t edible but the birds may use it for nest building) Attach the twine now using the hole.
Cover the hard bread with peanut butter, both sides
Dip both sides in bird seed
Hang and let the birds enjoy
