Homemade Vegetable Preserver and Wash

SOAK

1/4 cup vinegar

2 tablespoons salt

Fill a clean sick with cold water and add the vinegar and salt. Mix it together.

Place in the vegetables and/or fruit and leave it to sit for 30 minutes.

Rinse under cold water and dry

SPRAY

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon baking soda

1 cup water

Mix all the ingredients into a spray bottle.

Shake gently to mix ( this will foam up so be careful)

Spray on Vegetables and/or fruit or allow the spray to sit on the produce for 2 - 5 minutes and then rinse under cold water.
